GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
Welcome to AWELANKA Tours (awelanka.com). By accessing our website, using our Custom Tour Builder, or booking a tour package or chauffeur-driven vehicle with us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
1. Scope of Destination Management Services
AWELANKA Tours provides private chauffeur-driven holiday packages, bespoke island itineraries, airport transfers, hotel reservations, and wildlife excursion coordination across Sri Lanka. Every signature multi-day tour package includes exactly two (2) dedicated Relaxation Days within the advertised duration to ensure unhurried, restorative travel.
2. Passports, Visas (ETA) & Travel Insurance
- All international guests must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond their arrival date in Sri Lanka and obtain an official Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) / Tourist Visa prior to boarding.
- Comprehensive personal travel and medical insurance (covering flight delays, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and adventure activities) is strongly recommended for all travellers.
3. Official Chauffeur Fleet & Transport Standards
All transport is provided strictly via our 6 standardized vehicle categories: Toyota Axio / Corolla Sedan ($ 8,000/day), 7-Seater Nissan Caravan ($ 6,000/day), 10–15-Seater Toyota Hiace ($ 8,000/day), 23–33-Seater AC Bus ($ 9,000/day), 55-Seater AC Bus ($ 8,000/day), and Tuk-Tuk ($ 7,000/day). Rates include fuel, chauffeur accommodation, expressway tolls, and parking for the agreed route.
4. Force Majeure & Governing Law
Where extreme weather, natural events, wildlife park closures, or railway schedule changes occur beyond our control, AWELANKA Tours will proactively arrange safe, equivalent alternative routes or activities in consultation with you. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
